Janine, thank you for the shoot out.  The picutre of me and lil man is actually old because I don't have any recent ones.  LOL!  I think that picture is two years old now, but I promise I will work on getting a more recent one.  Hopefully, it will show how much bigger lil man has gotten and how little I have gotten.  LOL! 

Last night I did a Zumba class at the gym and I loved it.  I will defininetly go back next week.  I have finally got up at work and I am trying to have a positive attitude about it.  Saturday is the marathon kick off party and next week is the 3 mile run.  God, I hope I can do this.  My mind keeps telling me I can't but I know I can.  Does that make any sense?

Can't wait to see updated pictures of your mural and all the progress you are making on it.  I can't imagine how hard it is in 100 degree heat.

What a gorgeous day out! Yep, got some great sleep... may head over to the Palm Desert park for a free evening concert tonight. The weather will be perfect tonight. Thank God it's cooling in the desert... but not too much!

Just received my CLICK Mocha protein powder... not sure what I think about it other than it's less expensive than AchieveOne and Bucks... at least it's a complete meal compared to Bucks...

Janine, I'm heading off to Oceanside and the Outlets in the neighboring town on Sat... I'd love to drop by and see you and your mural in action. Expect a call on Sunday!!!

Work is busy being season and all... added projects ... beefed-up books sans ads and all. Fun events to go to again!!! It's nice to dress up.

Think I'm gonna be at the Halloween party in LA after all... costume ideas anyone?

Good Morning,

I am up and out of here in just a few minutes.  I am HOPING my sister gets her cast off today.  Seven weeks....I have been there, back and forth for 7 weeks taking care of her.  Now I need to stop this and focus on myself.  I have a little over 2 weeks before they go back in and redo my shoulder,  All I can say it, it better work this time.  The pain is so unbearable at times, and I am so tired of it all.  Between that and my back, it makes waking up in the morning something I am not fond of any longer.  I feel for you Vicki, back pain SUCKS. 

Ok enough complaining, and that seems to be all I can do lately, so I hope that everyone has a great day.  Oh yeah tomorrow is FRIDAY!  Dougie doesn't have to wake early and we can sleep in and cuddle.  I just LOVE weekends, I am not cuddling anyone at 5 am M-F.

Good Morning California!!

I've been super busy, getting ready for the LB Marathon...AND getting ready to be a bridesmaid this weekend!!!  I'm just glad I fit in the 'sexy' dress and my boobs look ok in my strapless bra with a little help from a few socks. :)

Leaving work early today for wedding rehearsal....better get busy!

 

Good Morning all!  Hubby and i got up today around 9:30.  Told him this is really going to suck in a week and a half when I have to go back to work and start getting up at 6!

Today brings me my morning protein drink, a shower, and then my wonderful walk around the neighborhood.  My niece and her mom (my "perfect" snob of a sister) will be in town as niece and college volleyball team will be playing here at Simpson College  I will go with mom and dad.  Mom called and said they were all going to dinner afterwards and didn't know whether to invite me and what I could eat.  I told her that even if I couldn't eat, I would still love to go and participate in this wonderful social event.  I also told her that if we went somewhere they served a soup or chicken I would be able to participate.  When I told her I am a very adaptable human and can make the best out of any dining situation now, she told me she really loved that!    Hubby was the same way until I told him to pick any restaurant he wanted -- And I managed to order something "legal" to eat off the menu and was totally satisfied.  This tool rocks - and I love my nutritionist!

So, It's a medium busy day today.  Not like next Tuesday where I've managed to make it an appointment HELL day!  Hair, nails, dentist and the doctor to be released back to work -- all befor having to drive to Burlingame to attend the PSEA board of diretors meeting (where they're going to appoint me to a 3 year term).

Nothing much on the agenda today. Still getting ready for my Pampered Chef show on saturday. This is the first one I've had in about 8 years. I just love their products and I am trying to get a new set of cookware.

I bought the extended version of the Sex in the City movie last night at ColumiaHouse.com and also found a belly dance fitness dvd for like $5.00, so I got that as well. I've always wanted to learn how to belly dance, so well see what happens.
